Charlie Moore shines in Miami’s first round upset over USC

By HENRY EISENBERG

GREENVILLE – No. 10 Miami pulled off a 68-66 win over No. 7 USC as Drew Peterson’s last second game-winning shot banked off the front rim as time expired.

Miami guard Charlie Moore, who is playing with his fourth team in five years, was the game’s star with 16 points, four assists and four steals.

Miami will look to keep the momentum going when it faces No. 2 Auburn on Sunday in Greenville.
