Sadraque Nganga commits to Boise State as Broncos land highest-rated recruit ever

By JACOB POLACHECK

Sadraque Nganga, the nation’s No. 32-ranked power forward in the class of 2022, announced his commitment to Boise State on Wednesday, per Tipton Edits.

The 6-foot-9, 205-pound forward from Compass Prep (AZ), is the highest-ranked recruit in Boise State history.

“Sadraque is a 6-foot-10 guard/forward that can pass, shoot and rebound at an elite level,” Compass Prep head coach Pete Kaffey said. “He’s one of the best players in the country when he’s healthy. Boise State is getting a future NBA player.”

Nganga announced a final 11 schools last year – Memphis, Arizona State, Georgia, Oklahoma, St. Mary’s, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, Arizona, and Auburn, but his recruitment shifted as schools moved on following some injuries.

In addition to Boise State, Nganga also took visits to Memphis and St. Mary’s before making his final decision.
