Bryce Lindsay, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Bishop Walsh (MD) and Team Melo, is headed to South Carolina.
Lindsay chose the Gamecocks over DePaul, Virginia, Oklahoma State and Pitt.
“The University of South Carolina visit went great, I loved the family vibe, campus and especially Coach [Frank] Martin,” he said. “He reminds me of my past coaches I’ve played for and I am very compatible with them. They coach you hard on the court and love you harder off the court. I feel like I can showcase my talents the best there.”
As for what skillset he will bring, Linday said a “point guard that has great decisions-making skills on the ball and off the ball I can score on all three levels and I can shoot it from anywhere on the court.”
He joins shooting guard Zachary Davis and power forward Daniel Hankins-Sanford in USC’s 2022 class.
“We already have to commits in my class who I’m compatible with and play great with,” he said.
