SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — After another cold, but enjoyable weekend at the Hoophall Classic, here is our All-Tournament Team.
These may not have been the most highly ranked players at the tournament, but these are the guys whose performances impressed us the most.
The group includes several uncommitted underclassmen as well as seniors pledged to Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas, Baylor, Houston, Illinois, Nebraska, Notre Dame, UConn, Providence, Auburn and Bowling Green.
The 2020 All-Hoophall team featured current NBA players Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, Cam Thomas and B.J. Boston, as well as current college stars like Trevor Keels of Duke, Hunter Dickinson of Michigan and Adama Sanogo of UConn.
2022 HOOPHALL CLASSIC ALL-TOURNAMENT-TEAM
Kyle Filipowski, 6-11 Sr. C, Wilbraham & Monson (MA) – DUKE
Filipowski, the first player to commit to Duke’s Jon Scheyer last summer, went for 28 points on 62% shooting with 10 rebounds, five blocks and three assists in 24 minutes in a blowout win over Life Center on Monday..
Jordan Walsh, 6-7 Sr. SF Link Academy (MO) — ARKANSAS
In the final game on Monday, the Arkansas-bound wing went for 15 points, four rebounds and four steals in a 70-64 win over Prolific Prep.

Keyonte George, 6-4 Sr. SG, IMG Academy (FL) — BAYLOR
The Baylor-bound guard went 6-11 from the field for 17 points with three rebounds in the 57-53 win over Montverde Academy.
Jarace Walker, 6-8 Sr. PF, IMG Academy (FL) — HOUSTON
The Houston-bound forward went for 15 points, including this monster dunk, in the win over Montverde.
D.J. Wagner, 6-3 Jr. SG, Camden (N.J.)
After shooting just 5-of-20 for 12 points in the loss to Calvary Christian on Saturday night, Wagner rebounded with 21 points and five rebounds in Monday’s 63-55 victory over Milton (GA). Camden snapped a two-game losing streak that followed a 44-game winning streak.
Mark Mitchell, 6-8 Sr. SF, Sunrise Christian (KS) — DUKE
Yet another Duke commit with a big weekend, Mitchell went for 27 points and 12 rebounds in the win over over Wasatch on Sunday and dropped 23 and 8 in Saturday’s win over Combine Academy.
Jayden Epps, 6-2 Sr. CG, Combine Academy (N.C.) — ILLINOIS
It looks like coach Brad Underwood and his staff are getting a good one next season in Epps, who went for 26 points, five rebounds and two assists in the loss to Sunrise Christian, showing the ability to score at all three levels.
Chris Livingston, 6-6 Sr. SF, Oak Hill (VA) — KENTUCKY
Dishing and swishing, he finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and no turnovers as Oak Hill beat Gonzaga (DC), 68-53, in front of Kentucky coach John Calipari. For more on Livingston, click here.
Jalen Hood-Schifino, 6-5 Sr. CG Montverde Academy (FL) — INDIANA
The Indian-bound guard posted a a triple-double of 12 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists in a blowout win over DeMatha Catholic (MD).
Dillon Mitchell, 6-7 Sr. SF Montverde Academy (FL) — TEXAS
Chris Beard and company are getting a special talent in Mitchell, who went for 22 points on 12 shots with six rebounds and three assists in a blowout win over DeMatha on Saturday. He’s a freak athlete and a strong defender as well.
Ian Jackson, 6-5 So. SG, Cardinal Hayes (NY)
The 6-foot-5 sophomore shooting guard put up 30 points, five rebounds and four assists while making 4-of-7 from deep and a spectacular transition dunk as Cardinal Hayes routed DeLaSalle, 81-40. He picked up an offer from UConn in the process.
Naas Cunningham, 6-8 So. SF, Gill St. Bernard’s (N.J.)
In a nationally televised game Sunday night, Cunningham, who is the No. 1-ranked recruit in the Class of 2024 per ESPN.com, went for 23 points and 10 rebounds, while making five 3-pointers, as Gill downed Westtown (PA), 70-60. He was then taken with the No. 1 pick in ESPN’s mock draft from the Hoophall.
Jamarques Lawrence, 6-3 Sr. SG, Roselle Catholic (N.J.) — NEBRASKA
The Nebraska-bound guard went for 20 points, four rebounds and three assists en route to MVP honors as Roselle Catholic beat Kenwood (IL), 79-70.
Simeon Wilcher, 6-5 Jr. PG, Roselle Catholic — NORTH CAROLINA
The North Carolina pledge Simeon tallied 13 points, six rebounds and six assists — with this sweet dunk — while controlling the pace of the game against Kenwood.
Marvel Allen, 6-4 Sr. CG, Calvary Christian (FL) — LSU
After committing to LSU on Friday, Allen went for 22 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a win Saturday over D.J. Wagner and Camden.
J.J. Starling, 6-4 Sr. CG, La Lumiere (IN) — NOTRE DAME
Starling had 20 points and four rebounds in a loss to Oak Hill, showing why Mike Brey and company are adding a stud next season.
Jayden Pierre, 6-1 Sr. PG, Long Island Lutheran (NY) — PROVIDENCE
The Providence-bound guard had 16 points on 70% shooting with nine assists, five steals, and only one turnover in a rout of Don Bosco Prep (NJ).
Gradey Dick, 6-6 Sr. SF, Sunrise Christian (KS) — KANSAS
Maybe the best pure shooter in the class, Dick tallied 17 points, six rebounds and four assists in a win over Wasatch Academy.
Donovan Clingan, 7-1 Sr. C, Bristol Central (CT) — UConn
The UConn-bound big man posted a triple-double of 24 points, 16 rebounds and 10 blocks in front of future coach Dan Hurley on Friday night.
Chance Westry, 6-6 Sr., AZ Compass Prep — AUBURN
Westry went for 15 point son 6-of-8 shooting with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in a win over National Christian.
Willie Lightfoot, 6-0 Sr. PG, Wasutch (UT) — BOWLING GREEN
The Bowling Green commit had 18 points and eight assists in a one-point loss to Sunrise Christian on Sunday.
Dereck Lively, 7-1 Sr. C, Westtown (PA) — DUKE
The Duke-bound big man had 22 points, 20 rebounds, six blocks and four assists in a 67-65 loss to Vertical Academy.
