Kansas’ Jalen Wilson suspended 3 games after suspicion of DUI arrest

Kansas redshirt sophomore forward Jalen Wilson has been suspended for the team’s exhibition game Wednesday against Emporia State as well as thje first three regular-season games after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Sunday.

Head coach Bill Self said Wilson will also serve “community hours during his suspension and do some community service.”

The 6-foot-8 Wilson will miss No. 3 Kansas’ game with Michigan State in the Champions Classic on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. No. 9 Duke will face No. 10 Kentucky in the second game of the doubleheader.

Wilson averaged 11.8 points and 7.9 rebounds last season.
