Dillon Mitchell, the No. 34-ranked prospect in the class of 2022, has committed to Texas, he announced Monday via Twitter.
Mitchell, 6-foot-7, 180-pound small forward from Montverde (FL) Academy, chose the Longhorns over Tennessee and Florida State.
“If I come to Texas, they will put in nonstop work with me to help me be an all-around player, help me be the best I can be, while also having a lot of fun,” Mitchell told ZAGSBLOG on Oct. 18. “They told me it’s not gonna be easy, but if I want to go somewhere where I’m gonna be pushed to be the best I can be, then Texas is where I need to be.”
Mitchell joins five-star guard Arterio Morris as the second commit in the Longhorns’ 2022 recruiting class.
