Duke offers Class of 2023 stars Matas Buzelis and Taylor Bowen

Duke on Thursday extended scholarship offers to two stars in the Class of 2023.

Jon Scheyer, who will take over as coach next season following Mike Krzyzewski’s retirement, and his staff extended offers to 6-foot-10 Brewster (NH) Academy small forward Matas Buzelis, ranked the No. 2 small forward in the Class per 247Sports.com, and Taylor Bowen, the No. 7-ranked small forward who also plays at Brewster.

Buzelis also holds offers from Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State, North Carolina, Purdue, Oklahoma, Maryland, UConn, Seton Hall, Kansas, Nebraska, Providence, Syracuse, Illinois and Wake Forest, among others.

Bowen holds offers from Kansas, USC, UConn, Maryland, Penn State, Providence, Arkansas and Rutgers, among others.
