Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick guard Kyrie Irving will take his official visit to Duke the weekend of Sept. 25 and to Indiana the weekend of Oct. 3.
“I know we’re visiting Duke Sept. 25 and Indiana Oct. 3,” said Drederick Irving, Kyrie’s dad.
Drederick said the following in-home visits are set. He will get back to me with the exact schedule:
Sept. 9 – Duke
Sept. 14 – Indiana
Sept. 15 – Texas A&M
In-homes are also set with Kentucky, UConn and Georgia Tech. Drederick said they were in the process of setting one up with Seton Hall, “probably around the 16th.”
Many people figure that Irving will ultimately choose between Indiana and Duke, and Irving confirmed that he has a strong bond with both programs.
As for Indiana, he said: “I have a great relationship with all the coaches, the whole coaching staff starting with Coach [Tom] Crean and it just trickles down to the assistant coaches. To Coach [Tim] Buckley and coach [Roshown] McLeod, I have great relationships with them.
“Every week I’m pretty much talking to Indiana.”
Kyrie also recently told me he has a great deal of respect for Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski.
“Coach K, his name itself, that’s just a big name,” Irving said. “It’s a big-time school. And I think everybody dreams about having either North Carolina or Duke on their list, and I have the luxury of having Duke. So I wouldn’t want any other way with Coach K. I have a great relationship with him.”
At Kentucky, Irving has a natural connection because assistant coach Rod Strickland is his uncle and Godfather. Kentucky is involved with several point guards, including Brandon Knight and Cory Joseph as well as combo guards Josh Selby and Doron Lamb. Still, UK coach John Calipari told me he might sign multiple point guards to play in his motion offense.
DORON LAMB UPDATE
Lamb is set to visit Kansas for “Late Night in the Phog” the weekend of Oct. 16 Oak Hill (Va.) Academy. Coach Steve Smith said Oklahoma was trying to get Lamb to visit the weekend of Sept. 19, but that it might not work out because school begins Sept. 8. Kentucky will also get a visit, Smith said.

JessieWildcat or USC?
And the winner is……. OMG! This is a first, they both have the worst and most unreadable posts of all. THEY BOTH WIN!!! What a historical upset!

both USC and Jessie would be a fine place to park a bullet, it might even be two birds with one stone. Why is someone from Arizona sooooooo afraid of the two teams in the commonwealth?
Why dont we get him stuck on a subject…… I know, salsa or picanti. Or how about…. How many children should he have that the tax payer must pay for; 5 or 12. Because there really is no middle ground, its either one or the other;

If he’s going to put three or four posts in a row on here he should at least alternate between names so it doesn’t look like he’s just talking to himself, right?
