Kimani Hamilton, the nation’s No. 87-ranked prospect in the class of 2022, traveled to Tuscaloosa Saturday for an unofficial visit in advance of his October 23rd official visit to Alabama.
“It was great. I had a fun time,” Hamilton said. “Definitely the fans and
the support (stood out the most).”
The 6-foot-8, 215-pound small forward from Clinton (MS) and the Team Thad AAU Program, had the chance to meet with the Alabama coaching staff while on campus.
“They want me here bad and I really fit how they play,” he said. “It’s basically a place that just feels like home.”
Hamilton, who is down to a final three of Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss, will trip to Oxford on Friday for his official visit at Ole Miss.
“I’ll be listening really well on how they want me to play there
making sure they know what I do,” he said.
Hamilton will then travel to Mississippi State on Oct. 16 for an official visit before his final official visit at Alabama at the end of the month.
He does not have a timetable for his commitment.
