Boost Mobile: Dunk Contest Participants; Cory Joseph Taking Visits

NEW YORK –– The ESPN Rise All-American Slam Dunk Contest will take place Friday at 5:30 at Harlem’s Rucker Park, with the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game set for 7.

Here’s who’s in the dunk contest: DaJuan Coleman, Joe Jackson, Josh Selby (pictured), Myck Kabongo, Roscoe Smith, Terrence Ross and Will Barton.

Rajon Rondo, Wilson Chandler and Brandon Jennings will judge the contest, which was won last year by former St. Patrick of Elizabeth star Dexter Strickland, an incoming freshman at North  Carolina.

**Also, I conducted video interviews today with Kyrie Irving, Tobias Harris and his dad, Torrel Harris, Doron Lamb and Rakeem Christmas. We’ll be rolling those out in the next few days, starting with Kyrie and his college list tomorrow after about 1 p.m.

The game itself will be shown Saturday night on ESPNU at 7 p.m.

**Cory Joseph, a 6-4 point guard out of Toronto who plays for Findlay (Nev.) Prep, will visit Villanova Saturday and UConn Sunday.

Joseph still has about 15 schools on his list and will cut it after the Boost Mobile game.
