Denver Anglin, the 6-foot-2 combo guard from Gill St. Bernard’s (N.J.) and the NY Rens, will announce his college choice Wednesday, July 28.
“I am deciding after Peach Jam,” he said July 14.
Ranked the No. 22 combo guard by 247Sports.com, Anglin said Providence, Miami, UConn, Northwestern, Stanford, Georgetown, Notre Dame and Xavier “are recruiting him the hardest.”
Anglin also picked up a St. John’s offer Tuesday after going for 17 points in the Rens’ 89-64 win over Team Takeover at the Peach Jam, going 5-for-7 from deep.
“Denver has the ability to play both the 1 and 2,” Gill coach Mergin Sina said. “He’s a superior athlete who shoots at an elite level and plays both ends of the floor.”
