Keion Brooks Jr. expected to return to Kentucky for junior season

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Keion Brooks Jr. is expected to return to Kentucky for his junior season, head coach John Calipari said Friday on a Zoom call with reporters.

Calipari also said he doesn’t expect to add anyone else to the roster.

Kentucky is losing Isaiah Jackson, B.J. Boston and Olivier Sarr to the NBA Draft, while Davion Mintz’s status is in limbo. Mintz will have until July 7 (10 days after the NBA Draft Combine) to make a final decision as to whether he wishes to remain in the draft or return to Kentucky.

Kentucky added Davidson transfer Kellan Grady, West Virginia transfer Oscar Tshiebwe and Iowa transfer CJ Fredrick while bringing in Class of 2021 prospects TyTy Washington, Daimion Collins and Bryce Hopkins.
