West Virginia lands DePaul transfer Pauly Paulicap

By ADAM ZAGORIA

West Virginia on Wednesday landed a commitment from DePaul transfer Pauly Paulicap.

The Elmont, N.Y. native chose West Virginia over Rutgers.

“Coach [Bob] Huggins is the main reason why I committed,” he said by text. “I think he’ll be the perfect challenge for me.”

The 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward averaged 7.2 points and 6.1 rebounds as a senior, and 10.4 points and 6.6 boards as a junior. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

West Virginia has also landed grad transfers Dimon Carrigan (FIU) and Malik Curry (ODU), along with incoming recruits Kobe Johnson, Seth Wilson and Josiah Harris.

3-star power forward Josiah Harris.
