USC adds Memphis transfer Boogie Ellis

By ADAM ZAGORIA

USC on Monday landed a commitment from Memphis transfer Boogie Ellis.

The 6-foot-3 San Diego native averaged 10.5 points and 2.1 rebounds as a sophomore at Memphis and 8.0 points and 3.3 rebounds as a freshman.

Ellis initially signed with Duke and then changed course and committed to Memphis in May 2019. USC also recruited the point guard out of high school.

He has up to three years of eligibility remaining.
