‘They are doing great things this year’: Eric Dailey Jr. picks up Texas offer

By JACOB POLACHECK

Eric Dailey Jr., the 6-foot-7, 215-pound power forward from IMG Academy (FL), has received an offer from Texas, he announced via Twitter Tuesday.

“They are doing great things this year and [my] teammate Tamar Bates is going there,” Dailey said by text Tuesday. “They said they are looking for a player like me. I’m definitely interested since my mom went to school there as well.”

Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 9 power forward and No. 39 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, Dailey broke down his recruitment for ZAGSBLOG in January.

Dailey currently holds offers and is in consistent contact with Michigan, Miami, Iowa State, and Texas A&M.

He is also receiving interest from Florida and Florida State.
