Five-star shooting guard Bryce McGowens decommits from Florida State

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2021 five-star guard Bryce McGowens has de-committed from Florida State, Stockrisers’ Jake Weingarten reported Thursday.

The 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard from Wren (SC), originally committed to Florida State in February over programs including Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia and Georgia Tech, among others.

“I committed early in February so I want to make sure I make the right decision,” he told 247Sports.

According to 247Sports.com, McGowens is ranked as the No. 4 shooting guard and No. 26 overall prospect in the Class of 2021.
