Ryan Mutombo commits to Georgetown

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2021 big Ryan Mutombo has committed to Georgetown, he announced Sunday via Twitter.

The 6-foot-11, 235-pound center from Lovett School (GA), chose Georgetown over Stanford, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 13 center and No. 71 overall prospect in the Class of 2021, Mutombo joins three-stars Jordan Riley, Tyler Beard and Jalin Billingsley as the fourth commit in the Hoyas’ 2021 class.

Mutombo is the son of Hall of Fame center Dikembe Mutombo, who played at Georgetown from 1988-91.
