Zion Cruz transfers to The Patrick School, Dior Johnson leaves Oak Hill

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2022 five-star guard Zion Cruz has left Oak Hill (VA) Academy and will transfer to The Patrick (NJ) School, Patrick School coach Chris Chavannes confirmed to ZAGSBLOG Friday.

The 6-foot-5, 175-pound combo guard from Jersey City, NJ is ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 21 overall prospect in the Class of 2022.

The news comes just two days after five-star Class of 2022 Syracuse commit Dior Johnson left Oak Hill, per Tipton Edits.

Johnson’s move comes after he suffered a stress fracture in his foot last month.

“Needed to take a second opinion and rehab back home,” Johnson told Tipton Edits.

Ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, Johnson

“He’s at home. Whether he’s coming back, I don’t know,” Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith said. “He left campus and went home. I really can’t say much else.”
