Josh O’Garro to Oklahoma

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2020 small forward Josh O’Garro has committed to Oklahoma, he told 247Sports.com late Thursday.

O’Garro, the 6-foot-5, 175-pound small forward from Canyon Country (CA) Santa Clarita Christian, is expected to arrive on campus and enroll in the next couple weeks.

He was planning on attending Sunrise Christian (KS) Academy this fall but Oklahoma offered him a scholarship Thursday with the plan to redshirt the 2020-21 season.

He joins point guard Trey Phipps as the second commit in Oklahoma’s 2020 class. The Sooners will also bring in transfers Elijah Harkless and Umoja Gibson.

According to 247Sports.com, O’Garro is ranked as the No. 22 small forward and the No. 121 overall player in the Class of 2020.
