RJ Keene to Boise State

By JACOB POLACHECK

RJ Keene, the 6-foot-7, 190-pound small forward from Concordia Lutheran (TX), announced his commitment to Boise State on Thursday, via Twitter.

“They play great all-around basketball,” Keane told ZAGSBLOG Thursday. “[I] have a great relationship with all the coaches!”

He chose Boise State over George Washington, Utah State, Iona, Grand Canyon and Hawaii.

Keane will visit campus for the first time on July 30, he tells ZAGSBLOG.

Keane joins Tyson Degenhart as the second commit in Boise State’s 2021 class.

As a junior during the 2019-20 season, Keene averaged 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals per game. He also made 135 3-pointers on the season.

According to 247Sports.com, Keene is ranked as the No. 48 small forward and No. 219 overall player in the Class of 2021.
