Williams, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound guard out of Tampa, FL, spent the 2018-19 season at Daytona State (FL) College before transferring to Ole Miss for the 2019-20 season.
During the 2019-20 season, Williams averaged 3.1 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals per game in 29 games played. He started in two contents and averaged 12.7 minutes per game.
At Daytona State College, Williams was coached by current Oklahoma State assistant coach Erik Pastrana.
Williams has one year of eligibility remaining.
Oklahoma State currently has the No. 10 ranked recruiting class in the nation for 2020, per 247Sports, but is at risk of losing players, including No. 1 prospect Cade Cunningham, after being handed a postseason ban for the 2020-21 season.
Oklahoma State will appeal to NCAA’s ruling. The deadline for filing the appeal is June 20.
