Mired in losing streak, Roy Williams goes to watch Patrick Baldwin Jr.

By ADAM ZAGORIA

With North Carolina mired in a six-game losing streak and headed toward its first losing season since 2001-2, head coach Roy Williams went to watch Class of 2021 star Patrick Baldwin Jr. on Tuesday night.

Baldwin went for 32 points and 17 rebounds in a win for Hamilton (WI) High, per Andrew Slater.

Thje 6-foot-10 Baldwin is the No. 2 small forward and the No. 3 overall player in the Class of ’21 per 247Sports.com.

His Crystal Ball is also 100 percent in favor of Duke, but as one person pointed out on Twitter, Harrison Barnes and Cole Anthony were once seen as Duke locks and both landed at Carolina.

Baldwin holds offers from UW-Milwaukee, Northwestern, North Carolina Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, Marquette, Wisconsin, Illinois and UCLA, among others, per Slater.

North Carolina has no recruits yet for 2021, but has five for 2020, including four McDonald’s All-Americans.
