Jonathan Kuminga is expected to make his return on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-8 Class of 2021 forward has been out about a month with a high ankle sprain, but is expected to return Wednesday when The Patrick School faces New Brunswich, Celtics coach Chris Chavannes said.
The Celtics are also due to play Huntington (W.V.) Prep Friday and Wildwood Catholic Saturday in the Metro Classic in Toms River.
Kuminga is the No. 1 player in the Class of 2021 and a projected Top-10 pick in ’21, per ESPN.com.

Kuminga became eligible to play beginning in the Kyrie Irving Invitational at Barclays Center on Dec. 23 and scored 20 points in a win over rival Roselle Catholic.

He then injured his ankle in a Jan. 3 loss to Sierra Canyon (CA) on ESPN2 and hasn’t played since. He was in a boot for a several weeks.
A native of the Congo, he is being recruited by Duke, Kentucky, Auburn and Texas Tech, among others.
