Zion Harmon pushes Kansas visit to Feb. 2-3

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Zion Harmon, the 5-foot-11 point guard from Marshall County High School (KY), will now visit Kansas Feb. 2-3 instead of this coming weekend, his father told ZAGSBLOG.

Kansas, which is dealing with suspensions to Silvio De Sousa and David McCormack in the face of the brawl with Kansas State, hosts Texas Feb. 3. Harmon would have seen the Jayhawks host Tennessee this Saturday.

Harmon and his father Mike are coming off an official visit to Seton Hall earlier this month, which Mike raved about.

Zion has also visited Western Kentucky, Maryland and Louisville.

Harmon is ranked No. 20 in the Class of 2021 by ESPN.com, but his father said a decision on a college and possible reclassification to 2020 should come by Zion’s 18th birthday on March 12.

“I think by March 12, whatever he decides to do, it will be clear whether he’s going to do 2020 or stay 2021,” Mike said. “I think everything will be clear.”
