Frank Anselem planning five visits

Frank Anselem, the 6-foot-10 center from Prolific Prep (CA), told ZAGSBLOG Monday that he is looking to plan visits to Kansas, Oregon, Alabama, USC and Arizona State. He broke down each school:

Kansas: “They know they are losing big [Udoka Azubuike] next year so they need someone can that fill his role. They also need someone who can lock up like him on defense.”

Oregon: “They love the way I play and believe it’ll fit in with their system. They go up and down a lot, so coach [Dana Altman] tried explaining how the transition will be easy.”

Alabama: “Coach [Nate] Oats‘ offense is similar to his team from last year and he believes I can play a big part in it from day one.”

USC: “They love my style of play.”

Arizona State: “Coach Eric Brown is a great guy. He’s in contact with me a lot and I appreciate the personal relationship.”

Anselem is yet to set any dates.

In addition to the schools above, Anselem has also been hearing from Gonzaga and Georgia.

Anselem, who plays at Prolific Prep, is teammates with Texas Tech commit Nimari Burnett and Georgia Tech commit Saba Gigiberia. He is also teammates with Jalen Green, who is considering playing professionally in 2020-21.

According to 247Sports, Anselem is ranked as the No. 57 overall player in the Class of 2021 and the No. 5 player from the state of Georgia.
