Eight players from Brewster Academy sign NLIs

By RYAN McMULLEN

Brewster Academy could almost fill out two starting fives of Division 1 players.

Eight Brewster players signed their National Letter of Intent on Wednesday.

Connor Barrett (Valparaiso), Terrence Clarke (Kentucky), Matt Cross (Miami), Marcus Dockery (Maryland), Javohn Garcia (UMass), DeMarr Langford (Boston College), Jamal Mashburn (Minnesota), and Kadary Richmond (Syracuse) all inked NLIs.

The Bobcats are coming off winning their sixth National Prep Championship and have high expectations again for this season.

Clarke, who committed to Kentucky in September, exploded on the Nike EYBL circuit playing for Expressions Elite. He averaged 16.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.

Clarke is projected as the No. 5 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, according to ESPN.

According to 247Sports, Brewster has five players that are ranked within the top 100 for the class of 2020.
