Cade Cunningham, the 6-foot-7 point guard from Texas and Montverde (FL) Academy, has taken two of his five official visits and says he’s “not rushing” his decision.

The No. 2 player in 2020, Cunningham visited Oklahoma State (Sept. 7) and North Carolina (Sept. 27). He still has trips to Florida (Oct. 4), Washington (Oct. 20) and Kentucky (TBD).

As for North Carolina, he visited along with Greg Brown, Pablo Banchero and Montverde teammate and UNC commit Day’Ron Sharpe.
“OK, I’m just coming off my official visit to UNC and it was great!” he wrote.
“On Friday we all met up and took a tour of the school; just getting a feel for the campus. That night they had Late Night with Roy, and when we walked in the whole place gave us a standing ovation. I wasn’t expecting all that. I didn’t think they knew who we were like that.
“The next day we went to the game against Clemson and man that was crazy!”
He added: “I had a great talk with Coach Roy too. He’s the man!
“He had already told me about his plans for me, but to be there and go over everything with him in person was even better.”
His brother, Cannen Cunningham, is on staff at Oklahoma State, but Cade has said he’s open to other schools.
“Everything about the visit was just cool,” he wrote. “I liked everyone there and I really think that they have something good going there.
