Terrence Clarke names top six, still considering reclass to 2020

Terrence Clarke, the 6-foot-7 shooting guard from Brewster (NH) Academy, named Duke, Memphis, Kentucky, Texas Tech, UCLA and Boston College as his top six schools Friday via Twitter.

He will announce on Sept. 14, as first reported by Evan Daniels.

At Peach Jam, Clarke said it’s “possible” he could reclass to 2020 and head to college next season.

“I’ve definitely been considering it,” he said then. “It’s been talked about with my family, we’ve definitely been over it. I’ll say that right now, it is a possibility that I could reclass.”

He reiterated to 247 that he’s still weighing his options on that front.

“I’m kind of looking through the pros and cons of it, because now that it’s been out there and it’s been looked at and I’ve said that I possibly can it’s more just how I can fit in to the 2020 class, and what I would look like that next year in the NBA draft, trying to be a one and done,” Clarke explained.

According to 247Sports, Clarke is ranked as the No. 3 overall player in the Class of 2021 and the No. 1 ranked shooting guard.
