Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly visiting Alabama

By JACOB POLACHECK

Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly took an official visit to Alabama on Sunday, per Andrew Slater.

Quinerly, who announced his intentions to transfer in April, is down to Alabama, Arkansas, Pittsburgh and Georgia. He is slated to visit Pittsburgh this coming week.

He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Quinerly was a highly-touted prospect coming out of high school, and was rated by 247Sports as the No. 7 point guard and the No. 29 overall player in the 2018 class,

However, Quinerly struggled to adjust to Villanova’s system, especially defensively and in his freshman year, he only averaged 3.2 points per game in 25 contests.
