USC grad transfer Derryck Thornton will visit Boston College today (Monday) and has several other visits planned, a source confirmed.
Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports first reported Thornton would visit BC and is also expected to visit St. John’s and Gonzaga. Auburn and Texas Tech are also involved.
The 6-foot-3 Thornton averaged 7.7 points and 4.3 assists last season. Thornton will be heading to his third school after spending his freshman season at Duke.
