Anthony Edwards, the 6-foot-5, shooting guard from Holy Spirit Prep (GA), will announce his college decision on Monday at 9 a.m.
Edwards, who reclassified to 2019 from 2020, recently cancelled an official visit to Florida State and is expected to pick Georgia over Kentucky and Florida State.
“Tom Crean is a great dude and the staff is telling me ‘commit to the G,'” he recently told Prep Circuit.
“I have a great feeling about staying home because my family would be able to come to the games and they won’t have to get on a plane. My sister just had a baby so I have a great feeling about staying home.”
According to 247Sports, Edwards is a five-star prospect, ranked No. 2 nationally, and is the No. 1 shooting guard.
He is the projected No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, per ESPN.com.
