2019 guard Lester Quinones visits Maryland, remains wide open in recruitment

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Lester Quinones, the 6-5, 210-pound shooting guard from IMG Academy (FL), recently took an official to Maryland but remains open in his recruitment.

“He just had an official visit to Maryland, it was great,” said his coach, Oz Cross. “They did a great job.”

Georgetown, Michigan, Miami, LSU and Memphis are also involved for Quinones, rankd No. 88 by ESPN.com in the Class of 2019. He has taken officials to LSU and Maryland.

Cross and Quinones are working on his final official visits.

“I know he wants to look at Memphis,” Cross said. “We might take an unofficial to Georgetown. And then with Michigan, I have to speak to his dad and see what they want to do with that.”

“He’ll have his final two or three set by the end of the week,” Cross said.
