By JACOB POLACHECK

Anthony Edwards, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Holy Spirit (GA) Preparatory School who recently reclassified from 2020 to the 2019 recruiting class, scored 27 points on Thursday at the Chick-Fil-A Classic.

North Carolina head coach Roy Williams was in attendance, as well as an assistant from Georgia.

Edwards is down to Duke, Florida State, Kansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina, and UCLA.

According to 247Sports, Edwards is ranked as the No. 4 overall player in the Class of 2019 and the top player from the state of Georgia.

Edwards took his first official visit to Georgia earlier this month (Dec. 1). He is currently planning official visits to Duke, Florida State, Michigan State and Kansas, with UCLA and others in the mix.
