Zeke Nnaji, the 6-foot-11 power forward from Hopkins (MN) and D1 Minnesota, took his fifth official visit to Purdue this past weekend after visiting Kansas, Arizona, UCLA and Baylor the last four weeks.
“Like the other four schools, Purdue sees him a prototype new big that can stretch the floor and run as well as make good decisions for them,” Nnaji’s father, Apham, told ZAGSBLOG. “Caleb Swanigan was one of their former players they compared him to in terms of how they used Caleb.”
Following the Purdue visit, North Carolina coach Roy Williams and assistants Hubert Davis and Brad Frederick visited with Nnaji and offered him a scholarship. North Carolina also hosted 2019 big man Vern Carey and 2019 wing Keion Brooks this weekend.
Nnaji may visit North Carolina unofficially.
“We are evaluating that and will decide in the next day or so,” Apham said.
