Boogie Ellis trims list to five

Boogie Ellis, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Mission Bay (CA) and the Oakland Soldiers AAU program, has cut his list to five schools. He is set to announce his commitment on Friday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. PST.

Ellis is down to Duke, Memphis, North Carolina, San Diego State and USC.

He has officially visited Duke, Memphis, and UNC. Ellis has also taken an unofficial San Diego State.

This year on the Nike EYBL Circuit, Ellis averaged 17.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 23 games played.

According to 247Sports, Ellis is ranked No. 25 nationally and is the No. 3 player from California.
