Quincy Guerrier set to announce Wednesday

By RYAN McMULLEN

Quincy Guerrier, the 6-foot-7, 215 pound wing from Thetford Academy (Canada) and the Brookwood Elite AAU program, will announce his college choice on Wednesday at around 8:30 p.m.

Guerrier is deciding between Illinois, Oregon, and Syracuse.

He has taken official visits to all three schools and recapped them with ZAGSBLOG.

Illinois (Oct. 5-7):  “The visit was great,” he said. “They want me to play right away.”

Syracuse (Sept. 21-23): “To be honest, I enjoyed my visit,” he said. “I had a good relationship with the coaches and the players. I knew some players because they had Oshae, Tyus [Battle], Buddy [Boeheim] and Howard Washington. I feel comfortable right now with Syracuse.”

Oregon (Sept. 6-8):  “The same thing, pretty much,” he said.

According to 247Sports, Guerrier is ranked No. 48 nationally and is the No.13 small forward.
