Auburn coach Bruce Pearl and former Virginia Tech coach Seth Greenberg are among the current and former Division 1 head coaches who condemned Saturday’s mass shooting at a synagogue near Pittsburgh that saw 11 people murdered.
The Anti-Defamation League, which monitors incidents of anti-Semitism in the United States and around the world, said that the shooting attack in Pittsburgh was “likely the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the history of the United States.”
Today’s murder of American Jews worshipping on Shabbat reminds us that Anti-Semitism and Bigotry are not threats of the past but a harsh reality today! Everywhere! Israel is at War in self defense as a Jewish state! It’s WRONG!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Jewish community in Pittsburgh and throughout the the world. Unfortunately antisemitism exosits in our society. The hate in our country and the world is disheartening but real.
