Kentucky Offers 2020 PG Sharife Cooper

Sharife Cooper, the 6-foot point guard from John McEachern (GA) High School, received an offer from Kentucky on Friday while on an unofficial visit, he announced via Twitter. Jason Jordan of USA Today broke the news.

Kentucky also extended offers to 2020’s Jalen Johnson and Jeremy Roach earlier this week. Scottie Barnes and N’Faly Dante have also received offers from the Wildcats.

According to 247Sports, Cooper is ranked as the No. 22 player in the Class of 2020 and the No. 4 player from the state of Georgia. He also holds offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida State, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Texas A&M, Clemson, Mississippi State, Seton Hall, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, UConn, and UCLA, among others.

Playing with Athletes of Tomorrow on the Nike EYBL, Cooper averaged 22.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, a league-high 7.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game over 21 games. At Peach Jam, Cooper averaged he averaged 28.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.8 steals.

In addition to Kentucky, Cooper has already taken unofficial visits to Auburn, NC State, and Rutgers.

Kentucky is also hosting 2019’s Isaiah Stewart and Oscar Tshiebwe this weekend for official visits.
