2019 big man Zeke Nnaji has big week of home visits

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Zeke Nnaji, the 6-foot-11 power forward from Hopkins (MN) and D1 Minnesota, will host several more high-profile coaches for home visits this week.

Arizona’s Sean Miller is due in Monday, Kansas State’s Bruce Weber Tuesday, Indiana’s Archie Miller Wednesday and Ohio State’s Chris Holtmann Thursday, his father Apham told ZAGSBLOG. So he will get a double-dose of the Millers this week.

Nnaji has already had home visits with Kentucky’s John Calipari, Kansas’s Bill Self, Georgetown’s Patrick Ewing, Baylor’s Scott Drew, and Minnesota’s Richard Pitino. UCLA’s Steve Alford is due Sept. 24.

Nnaji is planning an unofficial to Kentucky before cutting his list to five schools.

“We’ve continued conversation with them almost daily,” Apham said. “We will visit there unofficially before Zeke comes out with his top five official visits and dates.”

Zeke plans to set up his officials for October.

“We want to go through this process,” Apham said. “By end of September, he’s going to cut his list down to five and those are the five official visits that he’s going to take in October and early November. Then twoards the end of November he’s going to decide where he’s going to go because the high school season starts Dec. 1 and he wants to get that over with.”
