Kentucky, Duke the latest to show interest in Kahlil Whitney

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Kentucky has already landed one player from Roselle (N.J.) Catholic High School.

Now they may be targeting another.

After landing Isaiah Briscoe several years ago, Kentucky is now showing interest in Kahlil Whitney, the 6-foot-6, 200-pound small forward from Roselle Catholic and the Chicago-based Mac Irvin Fire.

Kentucky coach John Calipari watched Whitney and Mac Irvin Fire on Thursday in Milwaukee, as reported by ZAGSBLOG contributor Sean Bock.

“I talked to coach (John) Calipari once and he talked to my family and I have talked to them about it,” Whitney told Rivals.com. “He said that he would love to have me on campus. I don’t know when I want to take an official or an unofficial, I’m not sure. But, I’ll be talking to my parents about that.”
