The USA U17 team routed Croatia, 126-52, in the quarterfinals of the FIBA U17 World Championship in Argentina on Friday night.

The Americans will get Canada in the semifinals on Saturday.

Eight USA players score in double figures, led by Jalen Green’s game-high 27 points. The USA shot 60.4 percent from the field and scored 100 points in the paint.

Scottie Barnes added 17 points, Evan Mobley 15 and Vernon Carey Jr. and Wendell Moore 12 apiece.

Earlier Friday, Addison Patterson went for 18 points as Canada held off Australia, 74-70.

Last month, the USA U18 team beat Canada in the championship game of the FIBA U18 Americas Championship in St. Catharines, Ontario.
