GREENBURGH, N.Y. —Jonny Flynn grew up in Niagara Falls, N.Y. dreaming of playing for the Knicks.
Come the June 25 NBA Draft, Flynn may get his wish.
The Knicks hold the No. 8 pick and are in the market for a true point guard.
“That would mean a lot,” the 6-foot Flynn said Tuesday after working out at the Knicks’ practice facility. “Growing up a die-hard Knicks fan, everybody around me was a Knicks fan. My father was a Knicks fan. Just dating back to the Miami-New York series [in 1998] where you got people swinging from people’s legs and things like that, it would just mean a lot for me to stay home and play for the New York Knicks.”
And check out Tommy Dee on The Knicks Blog talking Flynn, Lawson and Villanova’s Dante Cunningham, who is hearing from Miami, Detroit and San Antonio.

(Not a facetious comment)
I think Curry’s ability is better too, thus making him the more likely choice for that high in the draft. This is assuming, though, that Curry doesn’t go before the 8th pick. Otherwise, I agree.
