Maurice Calloo, the 6-foot-8 forward from Huntington Prep (WV), committed to Oklahoma State, he announced on Thursday.
Calloo chose the Cowboys over Ole Miss, Illinois, SMU, and St. John’s.
“Everything,” Calloo told Rivals of what he likes about the program. “With coach [Mike] Boynton, there’s nothing better than playing for a coach you really like.”
Calloo is the fourth commitment in the 2018 class for Oklahoma State with Duncan DeMuth, Kentrevious Jones, and Yor Anei.
According to 247Sports, Calloo is a three-star recruit and the No. 56 prospect at his position.
Said Huntington Prep coach Arkell Bruce: “He’s skilled with a developing post game. He has a physical frame and can step out and shoot it.”
