Kofi Cockburn, the 6-foot-10 center from Christ the King High School in Queens, N.Y., drew a slew of high-major head coaches on Tuesday.
UConn head man Dan Hurley and assistant Kimani Young, Pittsburgh’s Jeff Capel and Tim O’Toole, Syracuse’s Red Autry, Cincinnati’s Darren Savino and Bryant’s Jared Grasso were all on hand.
Capel and Grasso both offered Cockburn a scholarship. (For more on Pitt’s big day in New York, click here.)
Ranked No. 39 on the ESPN 2019 60, Cockburn is also being recruited by St. John’s, Georgetown, South Carolina and Indiana, among others.
Following the first Nike EYBL session in Dallas with the NY Rens., Cockburn picked up offers from Kansas and Tennessee.
