Jahvon Quinerly, the 6-foot-1 senior guard from Hudson Catholic (N.J.) High School, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Villanova University.
Quinerly committed to Villanova in February after decommitting from Arizona in October.
Quinerly was selected as a 2018 McDonald’s All-American. As a senior at Hudson Catholic High School, he averaged 18.5 points and 5.8 assists per game while establishing himself as one of the nation’s elite backcourt prospects. The Hackensack, N.J., native is listed as No. 26 in ESPN’s listing of the nation’s Top 100 seniors.
“We are proud to have Jahvon join the Villanova family,” stated Wildcats head coach Jay Wright. “He is an outstanding student, talented point guard, and accomplished leader. We will count on Jahvon immediately in our lineup. He has all the ingredients of another great Villanova guard.”
