Joey Kasperzyk to Bryant

By SEAN BOCK

Joey Kasperzyk, the 6-foot-1 guard from Woodstock Academy (CT), has committed to Bryant.

Kasperzyk chose the Bulldogs over Vermont, Manhattan, Robert Morris, Kent State, St Francis (PA) and Wofford.

“I picked Bryant because coach [Jared] Grasso believes in me and what I could become,” Kasperzyk told ZAGSBLOG. “Also, they fit my play style. I would bring high energy, defense and a winning mentality to the team.”

Kasperzyk is the first commit for Grasso, who was hired as head coach last week. Kasperzyk joins 6-foot-9 forward Patrick Harding in the 2018 class.
