Indiana coach Archie Miller and Vanderbilt’s Bryce Drew will watch Romeo Langford and his New Albany (IN) team compete in the state semifinals at 3 p.m. on Saturday, his father Tim told ZAGSBLOG.
Langford, who was recently selected for the McDonald’s All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic, is down to Indiana, Vanderbilt and Kansas. The Jayhawks are competing in the NCAA Tournament in Wichita, opening against Penn in the first round.
Ranked the No. 5 player in the 2018 ESPN 100, Langford plans to announce sometime next month.
“It will be in April,” Tim Langford said.
During a recent visit to Vanderbilt, Langford told The Tennesseean he wants to “play with other great players.”
Langford is averaging 35.5 points per game and is fourth all-time in Indiana history with 2,967 career points, per The Indy Star.
