2020 Noah Taitz Talks Recruitment; Two Schools Working Hardest

By JACOB POLACHECK

Noah Taitz, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Bishop Gorman (NV) High School, told ZAGSBLOG on Thursday that Washington and Stanford are the two schools working the hardest for his recruitment. He broke down each school:

Washington: “The coaching is the biggest appeal for them. When went to visit, I got to meet all of the coaches and I really like the way they do things up there. The brother of my high school coach, Coach Rice, is an assistant coach up there at Washington.”

Stanford: “Obviously, the education is great up there. One thing I really enjoyed about my visit there is just the quality of people. When you’re walking around the campus, all the people there are really cool.”

Since Taitz is from the Class of 2020, college coaches are unable to reach out to him, but he has taken unofficial visits to Washington (June 21), Stanford (Oct. 14), and Utah. He has also recently received letters from Arizona and Ohio State.

Taitz also spoke about what he’s looking for in a school, as he said, “The deciding factors for me are coaching and the right fit. It has to be the right fit with a good coaching staff.”

According to 247Sports, Taitz is ranked as the No. 84 overall player in the Class of 2020 and the No. 3 player from the state of Nevada. He spoke with ZagsBlog about his game.

“I’m a scoring guard, who’s able to score the ball when he needs to, make plays for others, and do whatever he needs to win the game,” said Taitz. “Your handles can never be good enough. So, I’m always working on my handles and trying to get better on defense.”
