COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – Auburn starting forward Anfernee McLemore is done for the season after leaving the court on a stretcher after a gruesome-looking injury to his left leg late in the first half against South Carolina on Saturday.
Auburn said McLemore suffered a dislocated left ankle and was taken to a hospital for X-rays.
Thank you Auburn Family for all the love and support! Doctors said I dislocated my ankle, fractured my tibia, and will need surgery for some torn ligaments. Not to worry, I’ll be back in 4-6 months. War Eagle everybody ?
