Villanova leapfrogs Michigan State for top spot in men’s AP Top 25; major shuffles include Arizona St. at 5.

Villanova, which is off to a perfect 10-0 start for the fourth time in five years, leapfrogged Michigan State to become the new No. 1 team in the AP Poll Monday.

Michigan State, Wichita State, Duke and unbeaten Arizona State round out the top 5.

Kansas, after losing two straight, including to Arizona State on Sunday, dropped to No. 13 from No. 2

After wins last week over No. 22 Texas Tech and No. 17 Louisville, Seton Hall moved up to No. 15 from No. 19, giving the Big East three of the Top 15 teams in No. 1 Villanova, No. 10 Xavier and No. 15 Seton Hall.
